It has been a wet and rainy week but that has not slowed us down one bit here at camp! We’ve been lucky to be able to get all of our activities in between the rain storms. From canoes to high ropes, Camp Olympics, tons of pool time and gaga ball, and capping the week off with a Hootenanny, we’ve done it all.
Campers are looking forward to greeting their families as the new people they are after their week away from home! Fr. Michael taught us a lot of things about finding peace in our lives through prayer, song, videos, reading parts of the Bible and discussion with our Ohana groups.
At 11am on Friday we will have our slideshow and closing announcements and camper pick up will begin at 11:30.
If you’re interested in joining us for another week at DaySpring this summer, we have Middle School Mission camp in July which is a special camp where we work in the community on different mission projects during the day and talk about service during our Chaplain’s Program time when we’re back at camp in the evenings. You can check out dates and register for this session at DaySpringFLA.org.
