First of all, I would like to apologize for the delayed blog post, we had so many pictures yesterday that they were taking a little bit of time to upload to the website, but never fear, we are ready to go now!!
We had a great day on Tuesday! We started off with breakfast, prayers and music, and then our morning program. During our morning program, one of our Head Counselors, Rachel, shared her story about her call to become a missionary in Brazil for a year through the Young Adult Service Corps. Rachel should be leaving sometime in August and will be gone for one year.

After Rachel shared with us her story of her call from God, each Ohana group selected a story from the Bible of a call from God. The Ohana groups were given three random props and were instructed to make a skit out of their story to be performed later in the day.
Once all the skits were prepped, it was time for focus groups. The Outdoor focus group went to the high ropes course and spent the morning climbing to the zipline many times!
The Arts focus group continued working on their art service projects 🙂
And the Sports group went out and played a game of volleyball and then had some time on the waterslide.
From our focus groups we went straight to lunch and then to siesta. After siesta it was time for Camper’s Choice, an ever popular part of the day! Some of the kids went to the low ropes course, some did tie dye, played catch, played in the Gaga Pit, made laynards, played basketball, and did some cloud watching.
After Camper’s Choice and free time, we had dinner and then got ready to party with Barney for our Hootenanny!!
After the Hootenanny we had our evening programing time with Fr. Michael where we performed our call skits from the Bible then we had some evening prayers and went back to our cabins for family time and bed!
