We are having a BLAST!
The energy is high, we’re not ready to slow down!
But, the time has come…back home tomorrow.
I overheard some campers today having a conversation with each other…”I really wish camp wasn’t ending tomorrow…but I’m excited to see my family.”
How sweet! (We’re all about sharing the love with everyone around here!)
SO – if your camper is still interested in camp, we have another camp that is available to elementary age campers that is happening in July. (Hint, hint! We would love to hang out with all of these kids again!!!)
Now to the fun stuff….here is what we did today:
We began the day with breakfast, energizers and worship. Then we had just a few quick minutes of BreakOut program time and before we knew it, it was time to head out to the Low Ropes Course and Tree Climbing!
We split into two groups for this and switched off about halfway through the morning. Check out some of our pictures below:
After lunch and siesta we went to chapel, crafts, and archery.
Then we spent some time in the pool, went to dinner, and had our Hootenanny with Barney!
Then each Ohana group presented a puppet show, and we had worship and went to bed 🙂
All in all, it was an amazing day! We are sad for camp to be over, but excited to see our families and share our experiences with everyone!
Remember: the Closing Eucharist is on Saturday morning at 11am in the “New New” Program Center at DaySpring. Camper pickup up will begin immediately after (around 12pm.)
Thank you parents and families for letting your children spend some time with us, we truly had a great time!
