The third full day of camp is complete and successful! We had an awesome Wacky Wednesday with our Camp Olympics and most of the kids even dressed up! The Camp Olympics consisted of a Lemonade Relay, Over Head Soaked Sponge Race, the traditional Potato Sack Race and Tug of War, Water Balloon Toss, and last but not least…..Pudding Toss, where the campers pick their favorite four counselors to toss pudding at!
For tonight’s activities we had our annual Talent Show where the kids showed off what they loved to do best! We played some games to get everyone playing together and also our nightly Compline!
We have one full day of camp left and we thank God every day for keeping the rain away from DaySpring, and not having to cancel any activities!
Don’t forget to email your camper at campbunknotes@gmail.com – make sure your camper’s name is the subject line! We are having lots of fun, but always keeping our friends and families in our hearts. We can’t wait to see you on Friday!
I sure do miss seeing everyone at Youth Camp this year, and serving as Camp Nurse. I am recovering from neck surgery, but am getting better each day. I am so glad to see familiar faces as well as a large group this year. The Lord has blessed you all with such wonderful weather and no rain. May the Lord bless you all with another beautiful day of activities, indoors and outdoors. Many Blessings, Elaine Hedrick, RN, BSN
We miss you Nurse Elaine and pray for your continued recovery!
